On the muddy fields of the Blackburn diamond, Mr. Electric took the field for their home opener and the Rogues took the field for their first game of the season. Mr. Electric gave the ball to Nick Bowman and Matt Cox got the start for the Rogues. Rogues got off to a quick start, scoring 3 runs in the first two innings. Mr. Electric rallied and scored 8 in the first two innings. Mr. Electric would add two more runs for a 10-3 final. Nick Bowman pitched 5 innings for the win and Al Tomlinson finished off the last two innings. In the sixth inning, Tomlinson would retire 3 batters on 3 pitches. Veteran Tom Burchill, without the razzing from his brother Kelly, would have a stellar night going 0-0 for 3 walks, 2 runs scored and recorded the final defensive out. His feats were found on Facebook just a few minutes after the game.
