Hello BMFLers and other interested parties!
Last night the 2009 AGM was held, and we had a pretty good turnout.
Thanks to all who came for expressing your opinions on the way the league
operates!
Before moving on to the New Order, lets take a minute to
thank Wayne Hunter for going above and beyond the call of duty as our president
the last bunch of years. Wayne will be sticking around as Team Rep for the
Knights, and his experience and balanced view will be eagerly sought out by the
new Executive. Similar thanks to Chad Featherstone for looking after the league finances the last few years. The BMFL is basically a small business, and thankfully we've had trustworthy folks like you to help us steer the ship!
So without further delay, we are pleased to introduce your
new Executive.
President: Rej Doiron
Vice-President: Ryan Naylor
Executive Vice-President: Derek Bergeron
Treasurer: Mike Brownhill
Secretary: Tyler Cox
The convenors look like they?ll be staying the same. Team
Reps aren?t completely finalized and are always in flux anyway, but we?ll post
news on these in the near future.
As you can see, we still have some very key holes to fill,
so please pass the word along ASAP. This league cannot survive without your
active participation.

Board Update

Tyler Cox has offered to join the board as Secretary. This is great news not only for both the board, but also for the league to have a good guy and player like Tyler back in the fold.
We are still very much in need of a treasurer. If you are financially inclined, please consider giving up some of your time to help keep this league strong.

Hey guys, so the evaluation and draft have been completely. Hopefully all the evaluation players have been informed of their status.
Welcome to the new members! It was a very deep draft, and I think all teams have to be happy with their situation heading into the season.
Apologies for some of the late updates to the website. We'll have the schedule up ASAP. Until then, team reps have them, and hopefully they've distributed them.
